Items to find:
1. Location and Date: you will need to be able to locate the battle on Google Earth map.
2. The leaders of each side, identify their position and what army they were fighting for.
3. Troop/naval numbers, causalities, if available.
4. How the battle was won. Act as if you are explaining the battle to a person who has no prior knowledge of the Civil War, describe the events that took place for the battle to be won.
5. Impact of the battle: What was the significance of the battle, how did it impact the rest of the war.
Note: You may have to provide information that addresses the prequel of the battle. How or what events led troops to be at that spot. It may help in answering #5.
You may use your books, but also use the internet.
You may print out maps to help you with your location of the areas.
